Hi! Our mom (

heartsncrafts) created this journal as a simple way for people to view photographs of us, as well as an outlet for posting about us from our health right on down to every day life!

Sometimes special appearences will be made by our half-brother, Schubert the guinea pig; our half-sister, Buttercup the chihuahua and our brother-in-law Buddy the lab mix!

And now, for some more information on us!

My name is Landon. I am a four year old female cat. My mom and dad adopted me in February of 2005 from a little rescue called Hartlief Farms in Orlando, Florida. I am a special needs kitty because of my traumatic past. People were very mean to me and I still suffer from PTS syndrome (post-traumatic stress syndrome) and other neurological issues including false heats. I love treats, especially when mommy lets us have wet food. I am very mischievious and I always steal mom's Subway sandwiches! I am very tiny due to stunted growth, also from my past, and weigh 5 pounds!

My name is Hadley. I'm a two year old female cat. My mom and dad adopted me in September of 2005 at a rescue called It's All About The Cats in Oviedo, Florida. I was found as a kitten by an elderly lady who raised me until she passed away. I am very spoiled and love to be petted and brushed. I purr like crazy, especially when you rub behind my ears. I am a big kitty and weigh 7-8 pounds. I love to play and chase string! I love to be loved, and I love to love! I love to groom my sister Landon and give kisses to just about everybody!

My name is Jackson. I'm an 8 month old Norwegian Dwarf Bunny. My dad and mom got me at Petland in Orlando, Florida. The pet store did not take good care of me (mom's note: but what else could be expected?) and I had intestinal problems during my first days home. The vets at East Orange Animal Hospital in Orlando took great care of me and I'm back to normal. I am recently neutered. I love radicchio, romaine lettuce and carrots. I'm a little bit scared of people and love to hop around and play with my toy baseball.

My name is The Fonz. I'm a feral cat and thanks to my intense cuteness, I've inducted myself into the family. Mom and dad plan on using TNR to give me the life I deserve. TNR stands for trap, neuter, return. I'm very tricky to catch but am slowly warming up to people. I've let mom pet me and found out that I really love being rubbed behind the ears! I am a very sweet cat and it's not hard to make everyone fall in love with me!

IN MEMORY OF FERAL CATS

He sat beside the factory door,
And I thought that I would cry;
It seemed the world and maybe more,
Had looked and passed him by.

So small and weak, and oh so thin,
Just bones in tabby fur;
But when I stroked him, he'd begin
To roll and softly purr.

His eyes were green as leaves in Spring,
His heart so big and bold,
Oh how I loved that little thing
That shivered in the cold.

I turned and slowly walked away
As the rain began to fall,
But through the bleak November grey
I heard his plaintive call.

I gathered up his tiny form
And clutched him to my heart,
I held him there so soft and warm
And vowed we'd never part.

His little life soon ebbed away,
And on my lap he died,
A tiny ball of black and grey;
My tears I could not hide.

Now by the cherry tree he lies,
Safe from the rain and storm;
If only there were no strays to die,
and all were inside, safe and warm.
